Thumpers get owned by a blind spammer. Warriors are strictly better because you can have a W/N with plauge touch.
Assuming that your teams monk is going to have enough energy or resources to keep blind off of the warrior or thumper is assuming that you are fighting a poor team. Why create a build that will beat poor teams? The reality is that monks have only enough resources to keep the team alive and protect themseves. Removing conditions or hexes only happens if the other team isn't putting enough pressure on the monk. Good teams will throw tons pressure on the monk AND shut down any melee damage dealers.

I would rather have an off-monk Draw Conditions, and not have to run Plague Touch. This opens it up for Thumpers, Shock Axe Warriors, Hammer Warriors...
Although I do agree; 90% of the time I would rather take a Warrior.

i prefer thumper over warrior, as you get a pet, a second source of melee damage, and something else for the blindbot ele to worry about. and no, he doesn't do trivial damage. i usually bring ferocious strike and brutal strike in terms of pet attacks when i play thumper, and the pet can dish out some serious damage. (when brutal strike conditional damage triggers, it's like a Final Thrust)
points about blinding the thumper are absolutely true. if you have a blind spammer on your thumper, he won't be able to dish out as much damage. however most of the time i run with a smite build, and the smiter will almost always be smiting off of the thumper. smiter brings draw conditions. GG blind spammer. and you can always have your domination mes bring extra enchantment removal, as blindbot eles sometimes run dual attunements (not sure about how many run ether prodigy). no attunements = no sustained energy management = can't spam blind.

As a monk most of the time when I TA, I find the bunny thumpers alot harder to deal with then warriors. Thumpers have more interrupts, number of hits(due to pet), and nasty kd. For warriors its basically gg when i prot spirit and cover it when they try to adren spike. Against thumpers im usually fine but combined with other pressure as well as healing party members, it seems like theirs occassionally that lucky interrupt from disrupting lunge that causes a death on my team.

this thread doesn't handle about thumpers.
back on topic: I would always chose a thumper above a warrior if I can get a snare...
